ACTIVE SUPPORT ENGAGEMENT
Z1 Fencing Club
A competitive fencing academy founded by two-time Olympian Ziad Elsissy. We built the marketing site and the admin system behind it, and have stayed on as their technical partner since launch.
The challenge
Seasonal pricing, camp sessions, and coach bios lived in code, not in a form staff could open themselves.
Enrollments arrived as email, with no way to see who had waited longest or where a lead came from.
"Fencing classes near me" is how most families find Z1; the site needed on-page structure built for that, not just a homepage.
Program comparisons and the trial sign-up needed to work cleanly on a slow mobile connection.
What we built
20+ pages built from ~25 shared design pieces, covering programs, camps, coaches, and enrollment.
Enrollment, contact, and newsletter forms validate on submit and notify through the club's own Gmail account, so replies land somewhere a coach actually reads.
20 editable sections and six dashboard widgets that let Z1 staff control content themselves — no developer needed for pricing, camp sessions, or coach bios.
We work alongside Z1's SEO team on an ongoing basis — town landing pages, on-page structure, and technical changes as their local search strategy evolves.
Built pages are saved and served instantly, refreshed only when staff publish a change — except for anyone mid-form, who always sees a fresh, personal response.
57 small, tracked schema updates since launch, each shipped with real starter content instead of a blank form.
The site today
"He combines deep technical expertise with emotional guidance, helping students grow in skill, confidence, and resilience."
Where the engagement stands today
Z1 has been a ByteCraft client since 2025. Beyond the site and admin dashboard, we support their SEO team on an ongoing basis and remain the team Z1 calls whenever they need a new module or an improvement — we've shipped 57 tracked schema updates so far.
